Had a busy weekend! Last Friday, went to IT show after work! The ECP jammed like hell! We took about 45 mins to reach Suntec from my workplace at Harbourfront! The traffic was so terrible! Finally, found a parking lot and went to have dinner! Chose pastamania cos the foodcourt was so packed! After that, rushed to the IT show at about 8pm cos it closed at 9pm! Went round to grab the leaflets cos wanted to get a laptop! Saw my colleague at our company's booth and chatted for a while before I left at 9pm! Went home to study the different specs and pricings for the laptop.. In the end, I chose TOSHIBA! Reliable and prices is reasonable for the specs! Going to get it over the weekend. On Saturday, was resting at home in the noon cos tonight is my buddy BIG DAY! Dear need to work till 4.30pm so might as well stayed at home cos the weather outside is damn hot! Then dear came and picked me up at around 6pm then made the way down to Orchard. Waited for yun and her bf to come and meet us at the hotel lobby before we all went to the ballroom.... We reached very early at 7pm and went to get some drinks and watched the video of the newly married couple's photos collection! So 4 of us started to sit down at our table and chatted away until more guests arrived.. The dinner finally started at 8.45pm! The couple finally walked past the ballroom and everyone stood up! So happy for her cos finally our buddy got married liao! The funny part came when a video was shown and this was shot earlier in the morning and noon when the groom got to fetch the bride.. The jie meis of buddy very good! Sabotage the groom sia! Lucky the groom got 6 brothers to help him!!!! The editing was not bad and everyone on the floor was bursting with laughter! Halfway through the dinner, the couple finally came over for group photo! Finally had the chance to speak to her! Then we even made her drank a slip of Beer + Wine = Looks like Ribena!!!! The dinner finally ended at 11pm and we took another group photo with her before we left! Sunday..... Went to IT show again! Walked over to TOSHIBA booth and wanted to see the model that I had in mind... SOLD OUT! The sales staff introduced me to another model which is cheaper and somemore got further discount! $200 lesser but RAM upgraded to 1GB + 2 years warranty!!! So, $1799 was a good buy for Satellite series model! Made the payment, collected my free gift plus RAM, installed the RAM --> DONE! Very fast! Just finished charging the battery for 8 hrs this morning.. Going to set up my laptop when I get home tonight! What a busy weekend!!!!! Bad news received this morning! Knew about this last week but our manager just told us personally this morning.. WE ARE SHIFTING TO ANOTHER FLOOR! Not again! Ever since I joined the company, we gana shifting for a few times liao! Hate the trouble to pack and unpack the things.. Moreover, I am comfortable at my current workstation! Pray that my new seat will be as good as here or at least not bad as it will be! The toilets at the lower floor are quite dirty as it is shared by so many depts! YUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..............................................................
