First entry of 2008!
Happy New Year everyone......
Over the weekend, it was rotting time..nothing much to do and we are lazy to go over to new place....So basically just nua-ing at home or go shopping....
Everywhere are having sales..very hard to miss them! Hahahaha~
On Monday night, he suggested to go and watch fireworks at Marina Bay!
Sigh..wore a pair of new heels....a few blisters and the pain was terrible!
Went to look for slippers and manage to find one with my size!
Then walk over to Marina Square from Suntec to walk walk and also passed time..
We walked over to Padang to avoid the mass crowd at Esplanade..
Sat down on the steps near to the open field..
After 2 hrs of waiting, the fireworks finally started!
It was nice but still not as grand as the one on National Day!
Then we walked back all the way back to Suntec to get the car and manage to reach home around 1.30am!
New year holiday morning, met up sy and her hubby for dim sum....
Supposed to have the gang meetup for my birthday but not all can turn up....
So the treat was called off but 4 of us went ahead to have breakfast together...
Reached around 10.45am....the queue was super super long!
We waited patiently for 30 mins to get a seat..
After 1 hr of great food and almost bursted stomach, we left at 12.30pm....
We parted and both of us went to Ikea to walk walk..
Managed to see some design ideas and also my ideal kitchen's cabinets materials.....
Met with the gers today for the unsuccessful attempt to meetup on Tuesday for dim sum session...
It was super last minute decision which we only discussed this morning over email!
Supposed to have dinner @ The Village at Hereen..
But Zen reached and found that they have ceased operations from yesterday!
I just had my dinner there last week!
No choice, with tired legs and hungry feeling..
Went over to Cineleisure for HK Cafe food....
Abit "downgraded"cos seems like below budget for the birthday treat!
Shall make up someday for some nice desserts which I saw on TV last weekend..
Stella said it is somewhere near Bugis....

This year, my birthday wishlist was simple..
Just vouchers or cash will do!
Pretty lazy to think of individual things which I want to buy...
Make it easier for the gers....

When you are getting older, birthday is no longer special....
